By the way... Did you know that vegetables are almost as lethal as poultry and beef? According to recent CDC research "Chicken, turkey and other poultry accounted for 17 percent of the food-borne illness outbreaks reported to the government. Beef and leafy vegetables were close behind, at 16 percent and 14 percent." The CDC report goes on to say that in addition to "Norovirus, a common bug most often spread by food handlers, was frequently seen in leafy vegetables." That means that leafy veggies like lettuce and spinach are about as likely to kill you as a hamburger or leg of chicken! Better pass on that salad or go English and boil it!
"I was wrong about veganism. Let them eat meat -- but farm it properly." -George Monbiot, former vegan proponent
Tip of the day: Kill your food before you eat it.
